The EBYDS event on Sunday the 23^rd February was a resounding success.

We received sponsorship funds from KCIBA, KCBA, KCLIBA, EIBA and Active Kent and Medway.

Mote Park IBC generously offered the facilities for the day free of charge and they also funded all the costs for printing.

We had 28 young Kent bowlers on the day and the winners and runners up from each of the 2 groups will be going to the finals at Melton Mowbray on 19^th October.

The winners were Harry Wimble-Roberts in the under 18 group and Tommy Evans in the Under 14 group and runners up Connor Stephens Under 18 and Anthony Aylward Under 14. They were presented with replica oak shields with £20 towards their future expenses. Every Competitor was presented with a laminated certificate of achievement by the KCIBA President Darren Willis. The feedback I have received from parents and visitors alike has all been good and just seeing the youngsters on the green made all the work worthwhile. So we are looking forward to running the event again next year.
