Following
a 6 hour journey (due to traffic) to Nottingham and the overnight loss of
Lesley Sokolowska due to illness, the hastily
reshuffled team won their semi-final match against
Thornbury
IBC in the evening.
The
final was played the following morning against a team from York.
Unfortunately,
York proved to be the better side on the day and won the match. This was
third time lucky for York after being in the final on two previous
occasions. The Mote Ladies are to be congratulated on putting up a
tremendous performance in getting to the finals and coming away as Runners-up.
