LEAGUE REGISTRATION & REGULAR BOOKINGS.
Sheets for next
seasons Winter leagues and regular bookings should now have been received
by members. Please get them back to Helen as soon as possible advising
whether you wish to enter a league team or make a regular booking. There is
no need to pay any money at this stage as it will be collected next year.
SUMMER
SEASON
The
schedule for summer season Leagues and regular bookings is now being worked
on by Helen. If you have not yet registered your interest in entering a
team or have a regular booking slot then do so now or you may miss out.
Summer Leagues will commence
2nd May. The Monday & Thursday Evening Drives will commence
from the 8th of May.
COUNTY
VALANNDOR
The ladies' team is
through to the final of this competition. It will be played at Ashford IBC
on Wednesday 12th April at 2 o'clock.
COUNTY
DUDLEY HOILE
The Men's A team won their
semi-final against Deangate at Swale IBC and were then narrowly beaten in
the final by Cyphers. Well done to all involved.

NATIONAL & COUNTY COMPETITIONS
Competition forms are
available on the table opposite the Stewards desk.
Note
Closing Date is 16th April.
LADIES NATIONAL MASON TROPHY
Following an exiting
semi-final
that
saw Mote Park beating a team from Dolphin IBC, played at Camberley & District
IBC.
The Ladies' are now on
course to play in the semi-final on Thursday evening ( 6 o'clock) at
Nottingham IBC followed by the final the next morning which is scheduled to
start at 9.30
FINALS
DAY
Don't forget finals day
this year which is on the Saturday 22nd &
Sunday 23rd April. Put this date in your
diary and come along to support. Note that we may have to use the Friday
& Monday as well, due to a number of players through in more than
1event.
PRESENTATION
EVE.
This is on the 4th
of May and will include a subsidised buffet as usual (£2.50

NEW DIRECTORS
Brian Cooper and Alan Robb
Have now joined the Board
of Directors following the AGM. Brian has taken on the role of Bowling
Director & Alan is now responsible for Sponsorship & Fund Raising.
Please give them your support.
REFURBISHMENT
We will be undertaking a
number of refurbishment activities throughout the summer.
The kitchen ceiling tiles
are to be replaced and some repair works to loose wall tiles.
The admin office will also
see some work being carried out to provide more space for Helen to work.
We are also hoping to be
able to commence with refurbishing the bar as we have had several comments
from members on how drab this area looks.
There will no doubt be times
when there will be some minor inconvenience to members. However, we will do
our best to keep this to a minimum. So please bear with us during this
period as summer is the only time we can do necessary work.
