24 players from 7 clubs within Kent came together to contest their Skills and Matchplay performance in the annual English Bowls Youth Development Scheme day at Mote Park IBC on Sunday 6th February.

With two age groups, U14's and U18's their day started with 8 rinks of measured skills in Line, Length, Controlled Weight and Jack Rolling which tested their accuracy and ability to adapt to the 'situations' that the 'targets' presented.

Following the Skills each age group competed in a 'Round Robin', 5 ends with 3 bowls Singles Competition, Winners and Runners up moving on to Quarters, Semi's and the Final.

U18 Skills Wnr - Josh Austin - Mote Park

U18 Singles Wnr - Josh Rowe - Mote Park
