Despite a low entry this year those competing showed great

promise with their Skills and during the Singels competition.

14 -18 years

With 36 entries a full day of measured skills and singles games were performed on the 8 rinks. Young players from Mote Park, Swale, Oyster(Whitstable), Angel (Tonbridge), Whiteoak(Swanley), Ashford, Bettshanger and Bromley competed throughout the day for a place to represent the county at the regoinal finals at Horsham in April and then strive to succssfully move on to the National finals at Melton Mowbray in November later this year.

For the first time in many years, Isaac Jenner (Swale) took the honours of winner of the skills section, won the singles competition and therefore overall winner. A very notable performance by Isaac.

Club President Mick Collins presented the winning trophies.

Both events gave parents family and friends the opportunity to witness the skills and competitive abilities of these young bowlers that have been nurtured by their own club coaches throughout the county of the past few years.
